Hello, I am researching a branch of my Doyle family who lived in Kingstown/Dun Laoghaire.
They are a new branch which i have discovered through researching Denis Doyle of 28 Fleet Street, Dublin.
Would appreciate anybody who has any interest in and or local history books/old photographs of Kingstown / Dun Laoghaire which they could look up..... and might offer me a clue or lead !! so all the info is below!
The families that are connected:
DOYLES of Kingstown who are the descendant branch of Denis Doyle, 28 Fleet Street, Dublin and Sydenham House, Dundrum, who was a grocer, spirit merchant of the city of Dublin.
The following names marrying into the family of Doyle in Kingstown are Egan, Timmons and O Neill.

Question 1: Was there a pub / grocer etc called Denis Doyle and Son in Kingstown in the 1870's??
Marriage: Doyle and Egan: January 11th 1875 at St. Michaels Kingstown: William eldest son of Denis Doyle, Esq. Sydenham House Dundrum, to Charlotte Emily, youngest daughter of the late William Egan, Esq (grocer and spirit wine merchant of Summerhill Dublin).

43, Mary Maud Doyle died 1/5/1911, Henry Edward Doyle died 22/10/1914, Charlotte Emily Doyle died 5/9/1924.
France Ellen Doyle died 20/1/1921, Mary Philomena Stephanie died 16th May 1928 aged 26 dearly beloved wife of Wm Edward Doyle. Also Frances Ellen need Doyle wife of Denis O Neill died 1/1/1939. Eva Emily Timmons nee Doyle wife of Dr.W.P Timmons died 8/2/1931?? (Hard to read from headstone).
Question 2: Does 4, Royal Terrace East still exist or is all knocked now? Any photos of the street in any local history books?
