Hello , I am trying to find out more about my great uncle john ,
he died in 1949 , suffering a heart attack at the james booth factory kitts green.
He had a wife (according to his death cert ) by the name of jane (nee lloyd ), can anyone remember the factory ? or maybe john and jane ? he was a boiler stoker , I have traced his family backwards but would love to find out if he had children ? . I believe he married jane in  1934 at the age of 48 ! and I cant find a previous marriage for him . regards digging up bones .

There is a marriage for a John F W Marriott
Tadcaster Yorkshire 1931 to a Edith M Kendall  9c 2131

Hi
The James Booth Factory wasopened 1938 on Kitts Green Road, Kitts Green BHam. I can remember the factory as Alcan but it is now called Alcoa. Still on Kitts Green Road. Marie
