Ghana marriage
« on: Friday 27 January 12 10:40 GMT (UK) »
My parents were married on 16.4.1948 in what was then the Gold Coast, but I haven't been able to track down their marriage certificate. I can find them on the passenger lists travelling out, but the marriage is not listed in the overseas registers and I don't actually know where they were. They were Catholic so it would have been a church wedding, and Mum must have only just arrived in the country so they might still have been in Accra. Any clues as to where else to look?
