Pitty Help
« on: Thursday 26 January 12 18:51 GMT (UK) »
Hi all,

Im trying to solve a little mystery.

Edward Pitty was born 1887 at Bethnal Green. He married in West ham in 1906 but im not sure who to, i think they had children aswell. Thats all i know until Edward forms a new partnership with Sarah A Murfitt, resulting in 6 children. These two do not marry, i think because Edward is still married to his first wife.

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to who he married in 1906 and whether any children ensued. I have Sarah Murfitt on the 1911 census living with parents, so he maybe with his wife at this stage but not sure.

Any help much appreciated.

G

Hi

I have sent you a PM as there is a strange 1911 Census entry that might be of some use.  Not posting details here as that is against the rules.

Cheers

Possibly the daughter from 1911... indexed here as PETTY but FreeBMD has her as PITTY

Baptism Register
St Luke Limehouse
Tower Hamlets

Sarah Ada daughter of Edward and Sarah PETTY of 24 Blomfield Street. Born 20th Sept 1906 Bapt 6th Oct 1906. Father's Occupation Carman

Not sure if you already have this, apologies if you do... might be your Edward... indexed as PITY

Baptism Register
