Greetings from an expatriate Geordie, now living in Massachusetts, USA..

I was born in January of 1945, and lived at Mariner's Cottages, in Acomb.
I ring my Mam every Sunday, so I will ask her tomorrow if she has any recollection of the accident, and report back here later in the day..

but no mention of an accident at that time.

Thanks for both replies. Its a small world I know the Skelton Family as I used to live near them in Hexham.
