« on: Tuesday 24 January 12 19:57 GMT (UK) »
Hi All, I have recently came across 5 discarded Medals 2 WW1 and 3 WW2. Both WW1 to a Soldier who served in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers Pvt A B Jones 23783. Is there any sites were people are looking for there relatives medals, would love to reunite them with Pvt Jones's Family. Thank you, James Shepherd.

Pte Allen B Jones served with 13th Battalion RWF and was discharged with wounds in 1917
He is on the Silver War Badge Rolls If any records survive they would be on Ancestry.

James

It's always worth bearing in mind that Pte Jones family may well have been the people who discarded the medals in the first place !
