Other than Virginia Ferla leaving the UK and arriving in USA 1914, can anyone find ANY other info on any Ferlas leaving OR arriving the UK 1880 to 1940?
Thanks for any info found.
Found Virginia on Ellis Island site.

Welcome to Rootschat.

The 1914 passenger lists gives Virginia Ferla as born "Cicily" (probably Sicily) Italy and brother was Frank Ferla of 329 Govan St., Glasgow. She was going to an uncle in U.S. with a different surname.

There were lots of people with the surname Ferla in Scotland but not all of them were Italian/of Italian descent.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Passenger records between UK and European ports were not regularly kept (on the UK side), so you may have to look at alternative sources.

and

show a Paolo Ferla naturalised in Scotland in 1928.

http://www.findmypast.co.uk/passengerListPersonSearchStart.action
has a few Ferlas listed (leaving the UK, mostly for the US).

There is a Jane M. Ferla who sailed from Liverpool/Queenstown to Boston, arriving Sep. 1901.  She was age 35, and last residence looks like St. Hooten.

Thank you shellyesq, unfortunately not one of mine.

I'm basically looking for Ferlas who emigrated to the States or perhaps went home to Sicily from Scotland.
