looking for birth record for John Grant on or around 1848 parents Allen and Adelia need imfo on the parents.trying to get mariage of Allen and Adelia and other imfo  cant find anything. brickwall  Help?

According to this - http://www.cyberdriveillinois.com/departments/archives/serv_sta.html - most Illinois counties didn't start recording births until 1877.  The Sangamon County Clerk's office says that it only has birth records since 1877.  http://www.sangamoncountyclerk.com/Vital-Records/Birth-Records/Default.aspx

john was born aroun 1848 in springfield illinois is all i really have to go on they moved to ontario can.when he was very young cant seem to find out anyhing on his parents here in can just John and his wife
