Hello, i just wondered if anyone has any information on Stephen Smith  the footballer from Hazelslade who played for Aston villa.
He was the brother of my GG grandad
I have googled him and can only find his footballing stats

I have his football career it was his personal life i was after
Was he married and did he have any children

His father was also called Stephen and his mother was Elizabeth formally Collyer

This looks like Susan in 1901 all living at 3 Chapel St Hazel Slade

I have found Stephen Smith b 1874 in Blackpool in 1901 census as a Footballer

Stephen Smith b 1874, in the 1901 census was staying at the Station Hotel Blackpool it looks like all the football team were there, so they may have been playing an away game.
