PHILLIPS lost descendants

Hi all,
I am searching for any descendants of John and Martha Phillips (nee Bright) married April 1755.  John and Martha had 5 children, John 1763, Susannah 1765, Thomas 1769, Edward 1772, James1775.

Their son, John Phillips, married Martha Mason in October 1787.
John and Martha had 6 children, Thomas 1787, John 1789, Betty 1791, William 1793, Anna 1795 and Richard 1799.

Their son John Phillips, married Maryann Saunders in November 1818.
John and Maryann had 8 children, Edmund 1819, Thomas 1821, John 1823, Robert 1825, William 1828, Philip 1831, Samuel 1833, Benjamin 1836.

Their sons  Robert and William, moved to Australia in 1851.  I am Robert's Great Great Great Grandson William.  Our family has a re-union every leap year (2012 being one), and we would love to know if we have any living relatives left in England.

Looking forward to any replies...

Do you have a location in England? If so I can move this topic to the correct county board.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

John Phillips married Martha Bright 7th April 1755 at Laysters,Herefordshire,England
Extracted record - Familysearch - Search - Advanced Search

Bill...can I point out that married 1755 - First child 8 years later in 1763, I would think highly unlikely...I would have thought there were children born 1755-1763 as well

Thanks Allan,  April 1755 was the marriage banns, but I dont know if that was the same year they married.  Banns were like an engagement weren't they?

So our first record is in Laysters,Herefordshire,England.

The next record I have was in Bockelton 1789 and it was a Christening of John Phillips.

Part of the Family stayed in Bockelton at "the Birches" or "Lower Grafton Farm", and part of the family moved to Llanvihangel, Carmarthen, Wales, according to the 1881 census.

I hope this helps you work out where this should be posted.....  aghadowey.

Hiya Bill...the record is Extracted( from Bishops Transcripts)....so they definitley married in Laysters on 7th April 1755.

I guess the bottom line is, no matter when or where, I am looking for anyone who can trace themselves back to any of the people I have mentioned. 

I can't believe that our Phillips line which came to Australia in 1851, seems to have no living "cousins" in the U.K. or beyond.

This is a bit like fishing, I'm just waiting for a bite.......  8)
