Where's Mr Griffiths buried?  Maybe finding him would help.

I'd definitely try the newspapers.

Im from Chorley so i will go over to Wigan at some point and search the newspapers.

William Griffiths (Ellen's husband) died in 1976 and i cannot find a burial/cremation for him either.

Ellen's death was registered by Willam.
