Hi. That's no problem at all. I just need to get them off my PC. Do you want me to email them to you?  Also, Betty's brother was missing in action in WW2. He was a pilot and also named John Allan or 'Jack'. I have a couple of pics of him too. So you are my Dad's second cousin. Do you still live in Scotland?

Hi that would be great i managed to get quite a bit of info on the pilot and a poor photo. I also have his name on a memorial at labuan memorial. I got it on the war graves commission.  Yes i live in ayrshire scotland my name is angus znd i am 75yrs of age

I'm Michael. My father is Edward, he is 74.  I didn't know my great grandparents or any other Allan's. Have you got an email address Angus? Have you traced the family back any further? Were our ancestors part of the battle of culloden?

Email heather.mciver@sky.com i have traced the allan side back to 1768 i dont know about culloden i will try and look into it
