Labourer them days was used as general worker by pen pusher clerks who would put it down as limitation space to explain full occupation title or could not be bothered as near enough explanation. Today people think labourer is of someone with a brush & fetches tea. So would not rule it out as a foreman.

Mind you!  these days- brush & fetches tea labourer is a good job title as its a job!  ;D and thats something in it own right or rank or status.
In my opinion the marriage residence is not always the place of birth. Never forget Workhouse and overseers accounts records of birth

Funny enough that's what my better half says she's a PA on an ok salary but her boss gets her to make tea most of the day  ;D

Eveline born Liverpool dies 1905 Manchester

John born  Liverpool 1901 is in an institution 1911,Newcastle


Arthur, Alexander and Winifrid and possibly another child Arthur Reginald are also in Newcastle 1911


there is a death of an Elizabeth Coote born 1879 death.March 1924 Newcastle upon Tyne,she needs checking out,also a Arthur death registered Newcastle March 1962,estimated birth 1881

there is a marriage in Morpeth district,J/A/S 1924 for an Arthur Coote  to Elizabeth Hymers,
the other death for an Elizabeth Coot is 1970,Northumberland ,Northumberland central estimated birth 1889

so now  only Edward is still missing

Who is Eveline and John?

Arthur Reginald I think is adopted maybe conscience playing some part he is the same age as my father but unsure really.

I will check out the deaths in Newcastle

Yes as I said at some stage he was in a workhouse before he married my mother he was a miner in Barnsley

first child John born June 1901 baptised Seaforth 1903,later in an Industrial School in Newcastle

Eveline born 13th of July 1904 ,baptised St Gabrial Toxteth Park,dies Manchester 1908

both children of Arthur and Elizabeth
