I think our Great Grandmothers were sisters. Mine was Mary Ellen (Fox) Farrell who emigrated to the US in 1887. I think your Great Grandmother was Elizabeth (Fox) Mooney. Maggie's Mother. I see Maggie listed on the 1911 Irish Census as living with her Grandparents, Bridget and Laurence Fox (sp?) whoe were for my Great, Great Grandparents. I have the address as 35.1 Bow Lane West and you list it as number, #36.  Not sure if I am correct.

35.1 (see 1st link) is just the number assigned to that dwelling by the enumerator in that particular census. The actual street address is 35 (see 2nd link).

Hi - Thank you so much! Are you a relative of the Mooney's? I have this document, but appreciate your sharing.

Not related at all- just trying to point out correct address in census record.

I'm a mooney from America trying to find my descendants. I think they may have sailed from europe to america. My name is Jeremy Mooney. My dad is Kenith Mooney. His dad is Drexel Mooney. Does this ring any bells?

Welcome to Rootschat  :)
I think you are trying to find ancestors rather than descendants?
You'll need to trace each generation back step by step in order to find when your Mooneys might have arrived in America. Let us know if we can help but remember not to post details about people who might still be living.

Thanks. I have a family tree and I have gone back as far as I can but that's where I hit a wall. The tree is on ancestry.com. I will just have to put in the time and research and look in the census. Any tips?

Start with Family Search (free to use but you need to register an account). I found what I believe to be your family there but remember that most recent available U.S. census is 1950.
