FEARN family from Stanstead Abbotts.

Hi,

I am trying to find the birth details for a Benjamin Fearn(e) born about 1740 in Stanstead Abbotts,Hertfordshire. I believe he married a Mary Salmons 18/02/1762,also in Stanstead Abbotts. I  would love to find out more about this ancestor.

Only marriages and not births or burials are online at HALS though there are lots of other useful indexes included on their database.

As the marriage index for this time period is complete, I think that we can disregard the 1752 marriage as Benjamin would have been too young and assume that the 1762 marriage to Mary SALMONS is the right one.

Thanks for that. Have been on to the website & found it quite useful as I have quite a lot of relatives born in Hertfordshire. Hopefully births & burials will be next on line. Can't wait!
