« on: Friday 06 January 12 20:50 GMT (UK) »
Hello, I am trying to locate my great x 3 grandfather's brother, William Stanyard on the 1841 Census. William was born about 1810 in Bilston, Staffordshire.
Many thanks.

Lydia and Emma are shown as not born in county.

I think Henry's age is 11/2 - his birth is registered in the 3rd quarter of 1839.

Many thanks, I received 2 wills/admins yesterday, one was for a William Stanyard who died 1874. It states that he left a wife Lydia and no children (the reason I didnt mention Lydia was because the only marriage I found for a William Stanyard, on the freebmd website was to a Lydia Tyler? in 1845, 4 years after ther 1841 Census). The document also stated that they had no living children and that they lived in Congleton, Cheshire and that William had a brother named John Stanyard, it also mentions my great x 2 grandfather Thomas Stanyard of Wednesbury. I didn't even know my great x 3 grandfather John Stanyard had a brother named William until I saw the will/admin.
Once again, many thanks.
