Does anyone (hopefully) have any information about a little known St on Hessle Road Hull called Trinidad street ive looked it up everywhere but no joy any pics or info gratefully received

Have you tried searching in google pics?  Also, if all else fails, you could ask the Local Studies section of the Hull librarey to help.

In what time frame did the street exist please?

Hi ive been to the heritage centre but haven't (up to now ) been able to find any info

Do you think the street is still there or doyou have a refernce to it from a past census?

Hi

If it's of any help, an old street guide lists Trinidad Street at the corner of 650 Hessle Road, which (I think) will place it on the north side of Hessle Road, just west of the railway line.

It was also known as Railway Cottages and was located off Hessle Road near Hawthorn Avenue. If you look at the maps in the history centre, there's one from1926 which shows it clearly and an earlier map seems to have Railway cottages down as Ash Street. The cottages were cleared and demolished around 1962 as the Dairycoates industrial estate was developed and the flyover built.
