STEPHENS Family Mary Tavy

Looking for further information about John Stephens, living in Mary Tavy from at least 1841. Born early 1790s in 'Perrensiblow, Cornwall', presumably Perranzabuloe. Married to Elizabeth/Betsy, who was born in Mary Tavy about 1795 (1851 Census).
I have not found a marriage yet so cannot trace John back to his 'Perrensiblow' parents, nor find Elizabeth's parents.
I already have plenty of information about their daughter, Eliza, and descendants.
Any information gratefully received.

I think you are right in that I'll have to order Ellen's birth certificate. Just hoping that someone else might have already researched the family and could give me some leads.

The OPC for Mary Tavy has been very helpful and quickly sent a lot of information about baptisms of Balls pre-1837.
