I've lots of ancestors who died of this, including my maternal grandfather and maternal g.aunt, aged 24 and engaged to be married.  I have photos of her and she looked so beautiful.

The majority of my relatives died of Tb if D.O.D was prior to 1920sih and they died before they were middle aged.

Obviously just a very consumptive family  :(
