Turner Longmire marriage

My grandfather Mark Turner married Betsy Longmire (Howe) in Watermillock in 1905 and in 1906 they emigrated to Canada. I am trying to see how far back I can go with my family history. My grandfather, Mark Turner was born in 1883 in Hardendale. His fathers name was Andrew Turner and his mother's name was Ruth Willan. My grandmother Betsy Longmire (Howe) was born in 1886. I know very little else. Apparently, her mother died when she was a child. On her marriage record, no father is listed. I would like to find out what connection she has with the Howe family. Did they raise her after her mother died? Are they relatives? On her marriage certificate the witnesses are John Howe and Annie Jane Woof. Can anyone help me wiith my search?
