Hi,

I did a quick search in the Star and I didn't see either Maria or William...  I wonder if they moved out of Toronto at some point??

The most recent Toronto Directory online is 1921.  Here is the page listing all the Salvation Army addresses.

You can contact the Toronto Public Library and ask them what was at 720 Bay in 1926.  The Toronto Archives may also be able to help you.

This is a really tricky one!!   :'(  McIntyre is a fairly common name.

Hi RunKitty,

Thank you for the info you provided several years ago....  I'm still no further forward.  I had contacted the Salvation Army at the time, but they were unable to shed any light.   It's like they have vanished from the face of the earth, but I know they must be somewhere and someone must know who they were.   Oh well.

Sorry for the delay in acknowledging, I obviously don't check on here too often... :(

Hi Karen.

I am a relation to the Taylors of Portglenone. I would love to discuss this all further with you. My great grandfather William James Taylor had a sister Elizabeth Taylor who married a James Keenan. I think my granny kept in contact with the Keenans after they moved to Scotland.

Elizabeth's mother and father were Thomas Taylor and Jane Kyle from Portglenone. I also may have some photos of Keenans which perhaps you could help me identify.

Many thanks
Rebecca

Hi Rebecca, Just noticed this message, Elizabeth & James were my Great grandparents, would love to touch base with you.  Not sure how to do that on here privately.   Hope you are more active on here that I have been in recent years! xx Karen
