Hi Mike,

Welcome to RootsChat.

I am very sorry but it looks like we have sadly lost contact with Katski, it looks like she has changed email address and we do not know what the new email is.

I have done a quick search for her but sadly I was unable to find her :'(

Regards

Sarah

Hi All

I opened another post entitled: Rimini Camp Ukrainian POW’s, that you might be interested in and I am still active in my search for my fathers roots. If there is any information I can offer any of you please ask and if any of you can offer me any new info, I would be very appreciative.
Good Luck Michael Fedeczko

Hi, my grandfather was a Ukrainian who was at wellingore camp and also came from Italy via Scotland. He married and settled in the village his name was iwan Maksymiw. I too cant find much info of his life before the war, I know he said he was part of an army but forced to fight for the germans.

Sorry we have lost katski but if it helps anyone else, Wellingore camp was a registered camp for Germans.
If you're relative was there he was in the German military.
