Civil Servant - William Neal Moore
« on: Tuesday 03 January 12 09:28 GMT (UK) »
I have a relative William Neal Moore who passed away in 1971.  He was a retired civil servant. Family in Australia believe that he worked for the Home Office in London.  He was still working there in 1962-68.

Is there anyway that I could view record relating to his service with department?.

Hi

The Government repository for records is The National Archives

The National Archives have extensive online guides including a guide to civil servants records

http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/records/looking-for-person/civil-crown-servant.htm

There is a link given at the bottom to further information in the in-depth research guide on the subject.
