Re the death of William Maurice, it came via a cousin who has been  doing the tree, but so it seems is wrong. I can see the need to verify the info she has put in before I just take it as correct.

Doing a search ( as I now can in NZ) I wonder if this might then be him, dying in NZ 1920?

I would say 99% yes, given that he was o the 1919 Electoral Roll...not further?

Elli - that explains why I could not find those births here in NSW.
I had the mge of Unita to Ezzey but not the other marriages. Thank you!
(And yes, it is so much simpler than SMITH searching - I do have SMITH family connections in NZ from my 3X gt Grandparents, Kotiro HINERANGI/Alexander GRAY from Korokareka.)

DIED 15/3/1975 aged 49

Have looked at mges for ROBINSON/HARRIS c 1920 - 1927 ( given approx birth yr of dec Grandson) and found
Marriage
1920/4429   
Gladys Alfreda    Robinson    
Warren Hastings    Harris

something more for me to chase and try to verify as perhaps another dau of Wm M and Catherine!

Mmm   ... Gladys Alfreda HARRIS died in 1923 - aged 32 years (born about 1891).

[William Maurice and Catherine E.L. weren't married until 1896. ]

is - I have the daughters mentioned in the SMH death notice of Catherine, listed as;
Lily   (Mrs Weggery)
Eileen (Mrs. McQuinn),
Mary (Mrs Scoble)

all would have been nee ROBINSON
Lily's birth was reg'd 1900
Eileen's in 1901 and
Mary's 1905
