Baptism of Richard TUCKER at Broadwindsor

I am looking for the baptism of Richard Tucker c. 1765 - 1769 at Broadwindsor.
Any information gratefully received.

Where did the info come from that he was born in Broadwindsor

A newspaper article claims he was from Broadwindsor.  Also, he married Susannah Brown in 1789 in Broadwindsor.  I believe she was the daughter of James and Betty Brown and was baptised in Broadwindsor.  Of course, it is possible that he was born elsewhere and moved to Broadwindsor as a child.  He was well educated and later was a schoolmaster. 
He died in 1845, "Yeoman", and was aged 77 (burial at Tilshead) or 78 (death certificate).

Broadwinsor was in the Beaminster registration district and the Netherbury sub-reg district

I found this Netherbury baptism on the IGI

May be a total coincidence but there is a Charles Tucker aged 80 - farmer - living in Broadwinsor in 1841 

Richard aged 78 and Susannah aged 72 were in Chardstock in 1841 but that would make him 83 when he died in 1845.  Although the image looks like 78 - perhaps it's meant to be 73 which would fit better

Thanks for looking, but I don't think the Netherbury one is him.  My Richard's wife Susannah died in 1813 in Tilshead, and he remarried, in 1841 he was in Bourton aged 65 (slightly underestimating his age there, took me ages to find him, but it is definitely him).  Perhaps the family were from further afield originally.  Many thanks for your time.

I agree that the Netherbury Richard TUCKER is unlikely to be your man - it looks as though he was still around in Netherbury (Loscombe) in 1841, aged 70(-ish).

The 1841 Bourton entry tells us he was born in Dorset, but I can't find his baptism anywhere either.

Having said that I couldn't find him, how about Richard TUCKER, b. Shipton-George / Burton Bradstock, baptised 7.2.1768?

Shipton G[e]orge isn't all that far from Broadwin[d]sor. And Richard's father and grandfather, according to their marriage register entries, were both 'yeomen'.

Thank you, very much like the look of that one.  Richard's eldest son was called William, which doesn't prove anything, but is a pro rather than a con.  Will look further into all that.  Thanks for giving me the lead!
