There were no Registration Districts in 1697. Registration Districts only date from 1837 and the introduction of Civil Registration

Boughton Monchelsea is a parish and the earliest records date from 1560.  How complete they are is another matter.  The original records would appear to be at the Centre for Kentish Studies in Maidstone.

PS Will move this to the Kent board.

hi youwho, I have a wedding certificate for Elizabeth Ann Peach aged 22 and a George Benjamin Mitchell aged 22 married 13 may 1849 at Boughton Monchlesea. I have been unable to find any records for Elizabeth Ann Peach (father John Peach .Paper Maker) Census records show her born at Sundridge Kent but never found baptism there. Just wondered if you could please look on your baptism disc to see if she was baptised at Boughton Monchlesea.
Many thanks David.

Hi Dave

I have looked on Boughton Monchelsea there are no Peach's listed at all for that parish on the transcripts that I have so I looked at other parishes on the rest of the CD's.

Maidstone All Saints have Baps with a father John occupation paper maker as follows:-

bap 28/2/1812 born 5/2/1812 Fanny Dore  Peach D of John & Elizabeth (no occupation listed)

19/2/1815 Fanny Door Peach D of John & Elizabeth Maidstone (Papermaker)
24/7/1816 Samuel                  S of John & Elizabeth Maidstone (Papermaker)
I haven't got Maidstone Burials.

Maidstone All Saints Marriages

24/12/1837 Fanny Peach married Robert Hayes at Maidstone All Saints, Both Fathers names were John

Hope these help

There are more Peach and variants in other parishes I have  typed out,  if you would like to see them send me your email address privately, I will send them on an attachment save me typing the list again
