Interested in any information on Edward Roberts and Mary Ann Roberts (possibly nee Corfield). One known daughter Helena, born 1863 in Ballarat. Helena came to New Zealand around 1878 at the age of 15. Any ideas who she came to NZ with as I have no records here to check at the moment. I also have no information on whether or not Edward and Mary Ann emigrated to Australia from the UK before or even if they came to NZ with their daughter. I would appreciate any help. Thanks
There is no "Intention to Marry" or marriage certificate for Orlando Winnie, they were NOT married, She was Ellen McPherson (nee Roberts), wife of Daniel, I have the Intention to Marry notice.I have an Evening Post article c 1949, I have the date at home- the twins came to New Zealand as babies, they lived on the West Coast, their mother died when they were 12, Ellen was here earlier, more than 50 years? closest match was Mary Roberts, Hokitita Cemetery, died 1877, age 42. Where does the middle name Ann come from? I'd like a pic of Helena Smith and anything information after 1905, took 13 years to find her. I have some earlier stuff. Would you like to trade?
