There is a marriage of James Watts(Widow, of Inkpen, Berks)  to Mary Hall - @ Henly - 14 Nov 1818.

But according to the 1841 census, the Mary he is with, was born in county.

He may have remarried to the  Mary ? ? ? c1808, Hughenden, Bucks.  after 1841.

I have checked the BucksFHS Hughenden PR. disc, and there is no Mary Hall baptised there, although there are other Hall children baptised.

I suggest a purchase of Rebecca Watts birth cert, to be on the safe side.

Hi Watts

Firstly - Langley is in West Oxfordshire to the NE of Witney near Leafield and Milton under Wychwood.

The PR's for Langley and several other villages all surrounding it are recorded in Shipton under Wychwood.

There is a baptism at near by Milton under Wychwood of a James Watts 24 Feb 1811 s o Samuel and Sarah.

The only marriage I can see for the area, is a James Watts ofa bach lab X s o Robert. Lab and Frances Launchbury minor sp lab X d o William Cook (the different name is odd). They were both from nearby (again) Lyneham and the marriage was by banns.
So whilst this clearly not your marriage there was at least one more James Watts - for later elimination?

Hope this helps in some way

In the OFHS Marr Index 1538 -1837 there are several possibilities for your marriage;

James Watts to Mary Pacey at St Thomas Church in Oxford 21 July 1811 - a bit early I reckon?

James Watts to Mary Morris at St Marys Church Wootton, Nr Woodstock 25 Sept 1819 - a bit early again?

James Watts to Mary Knibbs at Somerton (which is SE of Banbury) 21 Oct 1833

and of course the one Steve found down at Inkpen
