The birth certificate of the infant who died in 1886 should help with Henry's marriage to Elizabeth and therefore Henry's parents.

We havnt found a marriage cert for Henry and Elizabeth(Dont know her last name) or a death cert for the infant or her, as they died in Stourbridge we contacted the town cemetery as they have buriel info for the council run cemeteries nothing at all as to where they are buried either.

It's nowhere near Stourbridge, but....

Births Dec 1884
WEEDNER  George
Greenwich 1d 1026

And for the father...

Births Dec 1862
WEIDNER  Henry
Croydon 2a 176

FamilySearch has a birth record for this Henry: born 1 Nov 1862 and christened 13 Nov 1862 at St John the Baptist, Croydon - son of Joseph Weidner and Jane.

Joseph and his wife Jane (née Thynne) are on the 1861 census in Epsom, Surrey with baby Mary Ann as WEIDNER; he married Jane as WEDENER in Kingston on Thames, Surrey in 1859.

Joseph appears to have died in 1865, so if Jane remarried, the children may be under their stepfather's name - I haven't found them so far in 1871/81.

Lots of spelling variations for this surname!  Off to walk the dog, and more digging later...

Were the references given earlier (dec 2011) for different deaths in Stourbridge?

UNLESS you are willing to throw some money at certificates, then you should give up on this.
We've found you marriage and census (for free) and worthwhile certificate references (which will cost)
Looks like all no-cost resources have panned out.
That's just the way it is.

It could be that Henry and Alfred's  mother were not married, and Alfred was illigitamate, and his  birth was registered under the mothers surname, but he used the fathers surname.
