Thank's everyone, i now don't think the Director guy has anything to do with my tree.

My chap was born at Fulstow, along with his siblings, and was a grocer. If only they had used his middle name in the first 3 census it would have been straight forward, but hey, i guess that's what makes it interesting.

Thanks Again

Sue

Just as an added not  Herbert's older brother James in 1891 was working for a farmer
George Philips

So he would have lived in at the farm
This is the house/farm I live on today

I'll say "Hi" to him when I go to bed to you  ;D

I do have a male ghost in the garden maybe it's him!

Hi Nick,

Thank's for getting in touch, very kind of you. Ive now dismissed the company director, my Herbert Allison is just a grocer in Lincs!

I do have his brother James in the 1891 census (at your house/farm) in my tree,  i'm not sure who the dad is for him or his sister Sophia as they were born before their "parents" marriage in 1872, so i think the two are half siblings to Herbert Allison Kirman and the rest of his siblings.

Well when i go the back way to Grimsby from Louth i'll give your/my ghost a wave, but you can keep him with you!!!

Thanks again for the info you've supplied, some i had and some i didn't, thank's.

Sue
