Is it possible to restore this pic?
« on: Monday 19 December 11 08:27 GMT (UK) »
Hi All,

I've seen some of the wizardry performed on some creased photographs and would be very grateful if someone could have a look at taking the crease out of a photo of mine.

Many many thanks and best regards

Hi Mike and welcome to Rootschat...Although Japeflakes has done well with what he had to work with...The file size is only 37kb and you can post up to 500kb....a better scan would produce a better print out...a resolution of at least 300dpi is what we like to work with for best results...Here is a link to scanning and resizing photos:

Hi Guys,

They are great.

I'm very happy with what's been done. I'm sorry scan isn't better. I scanned it many years ago and its only been stored on my ancestry site so I've downloaded it from there. The original is at my grandmas house if i can find it I'll try and scan it better.

Thanks guys

Much appreciated guys. What you all have managed to do with a poor quality scan is incredible. Many thanks
