I've just started looking at relatives who went to Australia so I must apologise for appearing a bit of a newbie on Australian matters. Using the resources listed on this site I think I've done quite well - I found the couple I was looking for, their dates of death and where their ashes were scattered. I'm a bit stuck in looking for the next generation - apparently they had 3 daughters so presumably they all married and changed their names. I'm hoping that obits may give the married names of the children (as they do in the US). What information do WA obits usually carry and which newspapers are the best ones to search? Do local libraries keep copies of newspapers?
I'm looking for:
Thomas Hunter BROWN d 24/12/1959 address at time of death 94 Douglas St, South Perth
Margaret Johnston BROWN (nee Wishart) d 15/11/1968 address 41 Beach Road, Marmion
Their ashes are scattered at Karrakatta cemetery - Crematorium Rose Gardens 14A 0284
Any help would be much appreciated.
Jack
