Dorothy Phyllis Mary Brown (wife of Horace) died on 22/12/2006 in bedford  aged 87.  She is in Karrakatta cemetery.

In 1980 electoral roll Horace James Brown and Dorothy Phyllis  Mary are living at 122 The Strand, Bedford and he is a printer and she is HD.

There are 2 other Browns living at same address, probably children.  I will PM you the names.

regards,
   Ros
Edit to correct:  Dorothy died on 22/10/2006

A possibility for Jean, second daughter.
In 1954 electoral roll there is a Kenneth Douglas Wright, boilermaker, living with Jean Crawford Wright in 31 Elizabeth St, South Perth.

Kenneth Douglas Wright died 27/7/1973 aged 54  in Rossmoyne  and is in Karrakatta cemetery
Jean Crawford Wright died aged 78 in Bayswater 8/1/2002 and is in Karrakatta cemetery

regards,
   Ros

Edit to add : In 1972 electoral roll the same couple are living in 28 Rossmoyne Drive, Rossmoyne but now he is Kenneth Douglas Wright Snr and is an engineer.

And in 1943 ER, Kenneth Douglas Wright is living at 11 Hobbs Ave. South Perth as in marriage announcement.

I have typed this offline so some information is duplicated.

Mr Thomas BROWN, 23 years, engineer,Mrs Margaret BROWN 25 years, wife and Miss Mary BROWN 2 years departed London on 1 May 1912 on the COMMONWEALTH ticketed to Melbourne, via Cape Town.  Country of last permanent residence, England.  Country of intended permanent residence, Australia.

Australian Electoral Roll

McANDREW   Dorothy P M
District Perth 1945 Reg#2006

I noticed a Mary Blaik BROWN on the electoral rolls but not at the same address but in the same sub district, as Thomas and Margaret so this is now very speculative research.  Her burial record at Karakatta indicates she was born c1909 so could be the Mary aged two on the passenger record.

Husband, Patrick Joseph HEAVEY

Marriage
BROWN Mary B
HEAVEY Patrick J

The births to Thomas and Margaret in Victoria are not on the indexes to 1920.

No birth on free bdm but on Scotslands People there is one match for a birth for a Mary Blaik BROWN in 1909 and two matches for a marriage for Thomas BROWN to a Margaret in 1908.  I don't have any credits at the moment to look at the records, however I would imagine you have the marriage information.

In 1933 the family appears to have made a visit to UK.

BROWN-
Thomas H. b.1888
Margaret b.1887
Elizabeth b.1926--??--
Jean C. b 1923.

They departed Southampton with a destination of Fremantle.
I am not equipped to see more than the details I have given :D

I wonder where the 17 year old HORACE JAMES was when his family went to ENGLAND. Old enough to be in the workforce and almost independent I suppose.
