Flora(Florence) Eliza Saunders

I am trying to find the where abouts of this lady who is my GGAunt. She is on census returns for 1881,91 and 1911 when she is married, but I cannot find her in 1901. I was wondering if she could be overseas as this is the time of the Boer War and she had at least 2 brothers fighting over there. Could she have been a nurse and if so, how could I find this out?

Hi Dianne, is Saunders her maiden or married name? And when/where was she born?

At the time that I am interested, she is still Saunders. She married in 1906 and became Smoker. She was born in Maidstone as were all 10 siblings.

Many thanks. Not to worry. Where she went between 1891 and 1911 will forever be a mystery. Oh, that we could all have the resources of WDYTYA!!
