Watkin Watkins-Caerphilly

On the 1871 census for Caerphilly residing in Odd Fellows Row were:
Watkin Watkins, HD, M, 25, coalminer, Mwynyddyslwyn, Mon
Margaret, wife, M, 23, Caerphilly, Glam
Margaret Ann, daug, 4, Caerphilly
John William, son, 2, Caerphilly
Edmund Watkins, father, wid, 56, coalminer, Blaina, Mon

Margaret the wife died Dec 21, 1873, age 25 and she is buried in St Martin’s Churchyard, Caerphilly.  Buried in the same grave is my wife’s grandmother, who was the niece of Margaret Watkins nee Davies.

Wishing to learn more of Watkin Watkins I typed his details in the 1881 search page and waited in anticipation for the result, nothing, for whatever reason I failed to find him? 

Any suggestions appreciated

Have you tried searching using the childrens details

Have you checked freebmd for a possible remarriage

Yes I tried searching using the childrens details, still no result.  I haven't tried looking for a marriage at this stage, being male there would be no name change.

I haven't looked further than the 1881 just yet as I have the 1881 census discs at home.  I intend visiting our local library tomorrow where I can use Ancestry and FYP.

I have had no luck finding Watkin Watkins on the 1881, searches made for all individually and still no result.   His wife Margaret died December 21st 1873 aged 25 years.
Can someone please help locate him or his children on the 1881 or even the 1891 and free me from this nightmare.
