need a middle man/woman in UK

hello all,

since i live in canada, ordering BMD certificates from the GRO and having them shipped sometimes takes upwards of up to, in some cases, 6 weeks. i was wondering if anyone here would be interested in a deal where for each certificate i order i will also buy one for you as well in exchange for the certificates being mailed to your address in the UK. in return all i ask is that they are scanned ASAP and e-mailed to me. not sure if this is even allowed on these boards but thought i'd ask anyway. drop me a message if you're interested.

Surely it only takes about 4 or 5 days longer to receive the mail in Canada than in England, that is certainly the case for receiving certificates in Australia. I find that if the reference number is quoted then I get certificates here in Australia in 10 to 14 days, it does take longer if not quoting GRO reference numbers.

Are you applying direct to the GRO online at http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/ and not through one of the commercial sites?

What about the original, surely you'd want that posting to you and if its not a silly question, wont the GRO just scan it to you.

Mesrne, I can tell you that at busy times, those of us in the UK can wait a few weeks to receive our certificates ordered directly from the GRO.

We tend to order ahead of a new series of Who Do You Think You Are as this always creates a rush on certificates
