Hi can any one help me with some research on my Mason Family please.
I have a Thomas Mason and Sarah Nuttall marrying in Fort St George in 1815, Madras, India, then the birth of Thomas Claudius Mason born 1816 in Bangalore, India and Sarah Mason born 1817 Vellore, Madras, India.
Now what I am looking for is the birth of Thomas Senior and Sarah Nuttall.
And any info on what he did in India as in work.
Thomas Claudius Mason came to Tasmania and married Mary Bates in 1840.
So cannot find him on Immigration ship, would like to know what year he arrived in Tasmania.
have all the his children etc right up to today, but this family living in India is my Brick wall.
hope some one can help me i am doing a family tree for my Step-Dad for Xmas as he is the Mason side and a lovely person, just like to give him something nice, regards Liz
