1841 Maidstone lookup please
« on: Tuesday 10 May 05 15:46 BST (UK) »
This is a bit of a longshot but here goes. On my mother's side my granfather died in the 60s and grandmother died sometime later. My mum doesn't know his birthdate but is sure he was born in Maidstone, Kent.

I'm looking for a Arthur Stanley Parker born in Maidstone and aged around 14 years old in the 1841 Census. I'm told his adopted father was named Arthur Parker too. My mum thinks that her father was born as James Kennedy before his adoption and had his name changed.

Any help in this census would be much appreciated as I'm trying to narrow down the birthdate.
Looking for Hugh Marr and Mary Drummond.

Hi Robert

Are the dates or the people muddled here?  Are you sure that your grandfather would have been alive in the 1820s/40s?

Hi Robert

It's been a long time since you posted this so just wondering if you are still looking for your grandfather?   If so, could you please clarify the dates.

Hi,

Sorry. I forgot all about this thread and did thread. It is actually a mistake and my grandfather was born in 1927 so no need for the thread now.
