Kings Shropshire Light Infantry, the Durhams have the Kings crown at the top, this is a 3 lobed bow in the bugle cords. You are looking at the left collar dog which would normally be a mirror of the right so appears the wrong way around. Not WW2, we had gone on to the newer battle dress by then with the blouson style jacket.
