MAUDE, Catherine Mary (nee MacLeod) - Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at Lapointe-Fisher Nursing Home on Sunday, February 24, 2008, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Alexander Maude (1991). Loved mother of Donald and Anne Marie of Guelph, Jean Corrigan and friend Donald Floto of Exeter and Christina "Ina" Robertson of Kitchener. Loving grandmother of Stacey Maude of Mississauga, Tammy and Mike Weir of Guelph, Courtney Robertson of Sarnia and Katie Ann Robertson of Kitchener. Great-grandmother of Ruby Jane Weir of Guelph. Dear sister-in-law of Joan MacLeod of Hamilton, Elmer "Ken" and Rhoda Maude of Kitchener and Jean Maude of Guelph. Also survived by special friend Fanny Balcovy of Guelph and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Christina and Malcolm Murdo MacLeod; brother, Ken MacLeod; brother-in-law, Bill Maude and brother and sister-in-law, Myrtle and George Mitchell. Friends will be received at the Wall- Custance Funeral Home & Chapel, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph one hour prior to the funeral service which will be held, in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 (today) at 1:30 p.m. (Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre). Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society, 111 MacDonell St., Guelph N1H 2Z7 or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Catherine M. Maude in the Wall- Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph, Arboretum. Dedication service Sunday, September 21, 2008, at 2:30 p.m. (www.wallcustance.com).
