Stepney Marriage
« on: Sunday 04 December 11 14:00 GMT (UK) »
I am interested in a marriage in Stepney in 1720, the parish register of St Dunstan & All Saints shows the marriage & states that the bridgegroom was from M.E. New Town, in fact there are a number of others in the register from there.

Would I be right in assuming this was Mile End?

Hi,

Yes;  there was Mile End New Town and Mile End Old Town (often shown as MEOT).
