Hi Again

Looking at the burial registers for St Clements, Hastings

It looks as though Thomas died as follows:

St Clements, Hastings, 6th March 1846, Thomas Hutchinson aged 81 years

One of these could have been his first wife Mary

St Clements, 1st Nov 1810, Mary Hutchinson - no age given
St Clements, 16th Aug 1812, Mary Hutchinson - no age given

Hi Chris,
In the 1851 census a Charles HUTCHISON can be found in Kent with wife Mary Ann.

The ages and birth places match??

I also found Thomas marrying an Ann FOORD on 13 Dec 1801 in St Clements, so assumed she was the first wife and the mother of boy Charles.

I assumed also that Elizabeth was the second wife.

In 1851 Elizabeth is still in George st and her brother Benjamin and his wife and grand son are living with her.

So now with all the findings I now assume:

Thomas married Mary in 1792
Charles was born in 1807 and married the said Mary in the 1841 census and the Mary Ann in the 1851, both being the same women.
Mary died in either 1810 or 1812

Thomas married Elizabeth in 1819.

I would look at MUSTCHER and MUSTCHEN/MUSTCHIN all being the same name.

Thanks Chris that has answered some more questions.

Cheers
Sandie MUSTCHIN
