I think your best bet would be to get her mum's death cert or a will,or even try to find an obit. Any one of them might mention daughter Millicent.

There is a submission on Pedigree Resource File (familysearch.org) for Ernest Ralph Sherratt born Manchester 1885 but the submitter only knew his mother's maiden name - Anna Marie Boulton. Which is unusual to only know the married mother's maiden name!

Anna Marie Boulton married Ralph Sherratt Stoke on Trent area, 1883. Free BMD. It looks like someone was struggling with this line also.
