Hi Shane, i do belive you may  have cracked it for me  Every search i have done for her, has shown her name as Fanny and as it was  Richards mother's  christian name so  sounded   most likley.
I dont know where from or who ,in the back of my mind  thought her  christian names were Fanny Elizabeth but have never found any reference to the name  Elizabeth being used.
So sat here kicking myself that i had'nt tried using it !
It's been so kind of you to help as finding Elizabeth is very important to me.

Hi everyone,

I am having great trouble trying to find the family of Timothy Griffin and Catherine O'Driscoll who lived in the area of Cobh in Cork.

They had 9 children in total, the youngest being my grandmother - Margaret Cecelia Griffin born in 1932.

I know that Timothy worked as a Shipwright - I assume in the port of Cobh.

I am trying to find out more about their other children they had as well as their parents, but they are proving a very elusive bunch!

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am very new to researching my Irish genetics.
