Looking for information on the  family of
Margaret Bowen born 1849/50 Queenstown
married Richard Sanders/Saunders moved to England
appox 1881

There's a possible marriage for Margaret and Richard on the BMD Index - not guaranteed, but both names appear on the same register page :

  Registration district: Cork
  Event type: Marriage
  Year: 1870
  Volume: 20 / Page: 45

  Name: Margaret Bowen
  [same index references as Richard]

Neither are common names so I'd say it's quite likely your Margaret & Richard.

I was hoping  for info on the Bowen family left in Queenstown/Cobh
I'm new to researching, was about to send for Maragret's birth cert to find the district in Cobh the family lived in, but it seems it's mandatory on the form to put the address  which of course i dont have, is there a way around it ?

see the first post on the 'Ordering Certs' topic I posted above for details on ordering the marriage cert - all you need are the references I posted .. plus your details.

Margaret's birth would be well before the start of civil birth records in Ireland (1864) so no birth cert will be available. You would need to check for church records to locate a possible baptism. The marriage record should give you clues that will help - e.g. denomination of the marriage , Margaret's father's name and occupation, her residence before marriage etc

Many thanks again Shane, i have ordered the marriage cert
also i need birth cert for there first born Fanny Sanders/Saunders born Cork 1872 looked in Irish records but cant find a Volume or Page number
is there any where else i could get this info

I'm not seeing a likely birth for her either.. do any of the later census returns for her give more information ?
The 1911 census is usually quite detailed with places of birth.

By the 1911 census Fanny was living in the uk, where born it says
Cork,Queenstown resident.....so i'm at a loss why i cant find her birth on line. Not sure where to go from here.

I'd go for that marriage anyway.. maybe Fanny was short for something, a pet-name or even her middle name. It's also possible that the birth somehow missed registration or that a name had not been decided when she was registered - so could be registered as just 'female'. Maybe the location of marriage, or witnesses will provide a clue.

Unfortunately Cobh/Queenstown is part of the same registration district as Cork city, so there are lots of possible Sanders/Saunders births around that time.

p.s. I'd allow a few years either side of 1872 - ages are not always accurate on census returns etc.
