Hi Marg,
I received the certs today, but not the news I was hoping for.Ellen's father is Thomas,I think she could be my Ellens cousin as her father William had a brother Thomas,I haven't checked the census yet to see.
Louis William Crottogini born 29th July 1881,address 14,Moxon street.I have just had a look on the 1881 census, but they're not there,a family called Appleby are living at 14.I hoped I might have found them with the names wrongly transcribed, but I think the page must be missing with their entries on.I even tried Myton Street, where they are living in 1891,but no.
Regards Polly

Hi Polly

That is a shame, its back to the drawing board, the only thing I can suggest is the birth certificates of the children and the Electoral Rolls too see if there are any clues there, did you have any luck with RC record?

All the best Marg
Family History is a Pandora's box if you don't like what you see find a new hobby, only concentrate on the proven facts and not the facts you think you know.
