Hi can anyone help me please?

My uncles memory is getting abit confused ( he is 85) and well stumbling upon a bit of dead end. Heres what i have  and what i know>

My Uncle
John Kenneth Withall
Married 16th July 1979 to Elizabeth Shirley Ross (was previously married and had a son, see below)
Born 30/06/1926 and still alive

His father> (Ealing, London)
Herbert Ernest Withall
B around 26 Jan 1897
D 1987
Job Police Officer

His Mother
Elsie Louise Cross
B 1896
D 1986 (around 5 days before her 90th)

His son
Alan John Withall
B 1955
D 1981 (possibly walsall and possibly 1976 of suicide)
Job Police officer

I do not as yet, and uncle cannot lay his hands on it.

I wondered that too.......i am also wondering if it could be the reverse name ie Louise Elsie Cross???

On birth reg she gives maiden name as Cross - wonder if she told little porkies about her age???
