ALLAN lookup please

Apologies to all,The surname I should be chasing is "ALLEN,Herbert Alfred" not "Allan" I was always led to believe that he owned Allan's music so this is why I misspelt it.
Now I am wondering if this was another tale told to me by my parents when I was young, like the one about my dad riding the Kangaroo's at Riponlea house.All other details are correct though so I will keep hunting for info on the

Allen family and his prop in Mt Eliza.Now all the more interesting because I'm curious as to how he made his fortune if not through music and theatre ownership.

Sorry I misspell the surname but I am sure the property in Mt Eliza did belong to Herbert Allen,I recall there were lengthy discussions about my parents taking over the gatekeepers house
located on the property.

Found a reference to Mt Eliza.

Percy Ameil(Amiel) ALLEN resided at Tower Rd, Mt Eliza between 1937 and 1963 according to the electoral rolls.
He was an architect.
He died  in Mt Eliza in 1966 (Reg: 19514) aged 81.

Also Alfred James ALLEN died in N Brunswick 1938 aged 81. (parents: William & Esther E (Unknown)  According to his marriage to Sophia he was born in St Kilda.

Herbert's 1st wife (Eleah Minnie) died in 1957, so that narrows the Marriage time frame even further.

boy that jolted the old memory,yep, Percy Allen!! May have been the brother of Herbert?Sorry for being all over the place with this but will now need to get details on Percy and see just where Herbert fits in.

Sorry, no number, probably wouldn't have been back then, more than likely owned a whole section.  I'll check the rate books on Wednesday at the Library. 
Percy was Herberts older brother, they appear to be the only children of Alfred & Sophia to have survived infancy.

Hebert Also served WW1 and his occupation was listed as commercial Traveller.

Googling his name came up with the following at the PROV.
