I am interested in the Jennings family in Lower Brailes....Thomas Jennings, a tailor, made an indenture in 1738 letting a house and garden "Barkside Garden" to one Thomas Parker but actually lived in by a Richard Godson a glover. Thomas' father was William Jennings. Thomas was married to an Ann and had four children, Thomas, William, Ann and Mary. Thomas got the house (he is my direct ancestor) and paid off his siblings owing to them from grandfather William. Thomas was also a tailor and moved to Combrook...the house was then sold on to an Elizabeth Richardson. There are documents about all this in the Shakespeare Birthplace Archive and Library. I don't know what happened to the other members of the Jennings family and would be grateful if anyone could help me.....thanks!!
