I am pleased to read that you have followed every possible lead that you have been able to.

Have you checked what were the ecclesiastical and the civil laws/practices/regulations at the times of their children's marriages in the colonies in which they married,  specifically for the recording of information on mcs regarding "deceased" for parents of the bride and groom ?
